When you run your own business, you often default to do-it-yourself bookkeeping methods. Think QuickBooks or, even worse, spreadsheets. But what if we told you there was a better, easier way to handle your finances than relying on ancient tech?

We did just that in this Cyber Monday promo, borrowing heavily from Windows 98. By taking a dated yet familiar interface, we showed what can happen when you rely on software from the past (and had some fun doing it).

Display, Facebook, and email ads kicked off this promo, and we saw a serious reduction in cost per trial and cost per lead in paid advertising, resulting in an increased client count at end-of-month.
